About Lindy's Restaurant

Lindy's Restaurant is a diner in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is listed at 3001 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303, which places it among the local businesses of Fayetteville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Fayetteville, the breakfast crowd peaks on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so a weekday visit or an early arrival avoids the line. Across North Carolina, regional staples show up on the menu: biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles in the South, breakfast tacos and burritos in Texas and the Southwest, green chile in New Mexico, and Hawaiian plate breakfasts in the islands. Check the listing for hours, whether the restaurant takes reservations and its Google rating and reviews, and note that many diners are cash-friendly but nearly all take cards. Counter seating usually moves faster than a table for one or two.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (910) 485-6247. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 910 reviews, which is a strong result for a diner in Fayetteville and suggests consistent service.

Some restaurants serve food. Some serve memories. And then there's Lyndy's. Born and raised in Fayetteville, Lyndy's has been one of my favorites for nearly 30 years. Even though I moved away more than 20 years ago, Ray and I still find ourselves making the drive back every now and then just for lunch. That's saying something. Why? Because they still make those old fashioned griddle biscuits; the kind that practically dissolve on your tongue and have you forgetting you're sitting in a restaurant with a random water spigot coming through the wall for no apparent reason other than keeping customers curious. For lunch, I went with the BLT and fries. Ray, on the other hand, ordered enough food to make me wonder if this was Father's Day lunch or his last supper. Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, fried squash, hushpuppies, a roll, coleslaw, side salad... the man covered every food group known to Eastern North Carolina. My BLT was exactly what a BLT should be. Whoever cooked the bacon knew what they were doing, hitting that perfect balance between crispy and chewy. Every bite had that satisfying crunch that reminds you why simple food done right beats fancy food done wrong every time. Now

Food was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it. Definitely my favorite diner in the area. Will be coming here more often. They were super friendly too.

I love visiting the South! I love the cuisine. I love the hospitality (Southern hospitality is REAL!). Lindy's represents the South VERY WELL! Excellent food! Excellent service! ...and possibly the BEST house potatoes (home fries) I've EVER had!! Thanks, Lindy's!!
